The Monrovia High School Girls Volleyball team held their annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser match against Arcadia on October 4th. The Wildcats beat their area rival and raised $1,850 for City of Hope Cancer Center. The fundraiser runs until the end of October and the team is hoping to go beyond their $2,000 goal. it feels great to beat your rival in a sport it feels even better to raise money for a good Roswell doing it felt so great it was so awesome I know the team we just had a lot of energy going out there and we just wanted to fight for this and we really just wanted to win and which we did it was awesome it felt great in a chess girls varsity football team took down Arcadia during their breast cancer awareness fundraiser match it's an annual event that raises money for the City of Hope Cancer Center we wanted to hit at least over 2000 and we're real close we hit 1850 the QR code for the breast cancer awareness for City of Hope is good all through October with some time still left in October the team is hopeful to across their $2,000 goal Junior Taylor Brantley says there's nothing Misty can't do together I love this group of girls like happy to play with them and be able to like go through these motions of a Spore and like go through these motions with teammates and that this has probably been one of the best fruits I played with for those looking to donate to the breast cancer awareness month you can find more information on how to do so on her District website
