Way to go, Wildcats!
This is the first year Monrovia High School fielded a boys beach volleyball team. The team finished it's regular season with a win over San Gabriel High School. They finished with an 1-3 record, respectively, and played in a couple of post season tournaments.
While still considered a club, the team is working toward getting certified as an official CIF sport. (Music by Zachariah Hickman - Sweet Relief)
The Spyder Lab is part of the Career Technical Pathway programs at Monrovia High School. Students are able to hone digital design skills and use machinery to bring projects to life. Although the lab has been up an running since June of 2021, there was never a grand opening due to the pandemic.
MUSD's Board of Education hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrate the state of the art facility at MHS. Students, who use the Spyder Lab, demonstrated how each piece of machinery is used to create different projects. The lab currently has multiple 3D printers, a large cutter and printer, a fusion laser, vinyl cutter and a heat press.
Monrovia High School has a number of Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways. This video is focusing on Automotive Science.
This pathway gives students access to a autobody shop at MHS. In class, they'll get hands on experience working on cars and solving issues with their classmates. This is an excellent options for students wanting to know more about cars or wanting to work on them as a career in the future.
Math and Science Academy (MASA) Mentors is a leadership program that all MASA students are welcome to join. The students plan a math or science based lesson (including teaching content and a hands - on activity), and then travel to all 5 of our local elementary schools and teach that workshop to their 4th and 5th grade students. This is a wonderful experience for both our MASA students and our elementary school students!
The MHS Math & Science Academy (MASA) is a comprehensive, four-year high school curriculum for students who are interested in pursuing the math and sciences as a career pathway.
