This pathway gives students access to a autobody shop at MHS. In class, they'll get hands on experience working on cars and solving issues with their classmates. This is an excellent options for students wanting to know more about cars or wanting to work on them as a career in the future. -
MASA Mentors build STEAM interest at all levels

Math and Science Academy (MASA) Mentors is a leadership program that all MASA students are welcome to join. The students plan a math or science based lesson (including teaching content and a hands - on activity), and then travel to all 5 of our local elementary schools and teach that workshop to their 4th and 5th grade students. This is a wonderful experience for both our MASA students and our elementary school students!

Board of Education hosts a grand opening for the MHS Spyder Lab

The Spyder Lab is part of the Career Technical Pathway programs at Monrovia High School. Students are able to hone digital design skills and use machinery to bring projects to life. Although the lab has been up an running since June of 2021, there was never a grand opening due to the pandemic.

MUSD's Board of Education hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrate the state of the art facility at MHS. Students, who use the Spyder Lab, demonstrated how each piece of machinery is used to create different projects. The lab currently has multiple 3D printers, a large cutter and printer, a fusion laser, vinyl cutter and a heat press. -
MHS Roasters provide coffee and job experience to those who need it

The MHS Roasters coffee cart is open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Monrovia High School. It’s run by the Workability and Transition Partnership Program.

Spanish Club brings 'Dia de los Muertos' celebration to Monrovia High School

Dia de los Muertos is a common tradition within the Hispanic/Latinx community. The two day celebration is used to remember those lost over the years, making sure they never fade from memory.

Monrovia HIgh School Spanish Club set up an ofrenda , or table of offerings, in the quad to give people a space to put pictures of their loved ones. The Spanish club leaders said they hope to have more cultural events on campus with other MHS clubs. Their goal is to bring a sense of community regardless of what background a student might have.

MHS Girls Volleyball Raises Money for Breast Cancer Research

The Monrovia High School Girls Volleyball team held their annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser match against Arcadia on October 4th. The Wildcats beat their area rival and raised $1,850 for City of Hope Cancer Center.

Boys Beach Volleyball Ends Season with a Win!

This is the first year Monrovia High School fielded a boys beach volleyball team. The team finished it's regular season with a win over San Gabriel High School. They finished with an 1-3 record, respectively, and played in a couple of post season tournaments.
While still considered a club, the team is working toward getting certified as an official CIF sport. (Music by Zachariah Hickman - Sweet Relief) -
