Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) - Monrovia High School

Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is an educational framework created to address both the academic and behavioral needs of all students. MTSS is built around a tiered approach to delivering support and interventions. 

• Tier 1 includes universal, foundational practices that are proactively implemented for every student. 

• Tier 2 is targeted for students in need of additional support, such as small-group interventions. 

• Tier 3 is for students facing more significant challenges to receive individualized support.

Our mission is to deliver essential programs and services that support the academic and behavioral development of all students, helping them grow into well-rounded individuals prepared for lifelong success.
