Musical Arts Program
Under the exceptional direction of Timothy Weed, the Monrovia High School Musical Arts Program offers a vibrant and diverse array of performing ensembles, including the Marching Wildcats, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Drumline, and Color Guard. Beginning in the fall of 2024, the program will also feature a Chamber Strings Ensemble, further enriching our students’ musical experiences.
Our mission is to provide an exceptional musical education to all students, equipping them with the skills and opportunities needed to excel in their musical journeys both during and after high school. The program’s motto, “Fun through achievement; pride through excellence,” reflects our commitment to fostering both personal growth and artistic excellence.
Our ensembles regularly perform at school and community events, private functions, parades, and festivals. With the unwavering support of the Monrovia Wildcat Band Booster Club, students also have the opportunity to participate in fundraising events throughout the year, ensuring they have the resources needed to continue their musical education and performance opportunities.
