We are excited to let you know that Congresswoman Judy Chu is holding her annual Service Academy Day on Saturday October 20, 2018 at 10:00am in the Bidwell Forum at the Glendora Public Library (see attached flyer). This event is for high school students and their parents who are interested in attending one of the Military Service Academies, such as West Point or the Naval Academy. The Military Service Academies are among the highest ranked educational institutions in the world and have graduated notable figures in American history such as Presidents Jimmy Carter and Dwight Eisenhower, as well as Astronaut Alan Shepard.
There will be representatives from of each of the five Academies providing information on what they offer to students in terms of academics, life experiences and career opportunities. They will also be available to answer questions and give details on the requirements for attending these Universities. Please help us spread the word about this event by forwarding this information to anyone who might be interested in attending one of the Service Academies.
