After a dominant regular season (26-6), the Monrovia High School Boys Volleyball Team won the CIF title against Saddleback, in four sets.
The Wildcats’ story starts in 2019, when the varsity team was founded and went 7-27. One year later, before Covid hit and ended the season, Monrovia was 14-4 and had debuted at No. 1 in the CIF-SS poll following a win at the Liberty Christian Tournament.
The team moves on to the CIF State playoffs, and will host a first round game against Los Angeles High School on Tuesday at 6:00 at MHS; a Wildcat victory will earn them another home game on Thursday night. To buy tickets, please click here.
