Student Ambassador Program
The Student Ambassador position is open to all students to give students the opportunity to gain volunteer and professional experience to promote success in and outside of the classroom. Student Ambassadors will be expected to interact with students and the community in a professional manner, display professional dress at all volunteer events, and maintain a high standard of academic achievement inside the classroom.
After successful completion of the Student Ambassador position, students will receive a certificate of completion and have the opportunity to include their experience on their resume.
Maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA or higher.
Have no more than 2 unexcused and 2 excused absences per semester.
Students must have a signature of recommendation from all teachers on their school schedule.
Not miss more than one volunteer event during the school year.
Failure to meet these requirements will result in a one month probationary period. During this time students will not be able to participate in volunteer events. A student contract will be written to assist with the student’s return to the Ambassador Program.
