LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP: Wild Rose Sarah Maloney

Scholarship is open to students who attended Wild Rose Elementary for at least 3 years. Students need to write a short essay on how Wild Rose has impacted their life and describe their future plans. Completed essays are due to Ms. Ly in Room 109 by Friday, May 19. 

LA Tutors Monthly Innovation Scholarship

Awarding $500 each month to high school students who showcase their innovation by making a difference in the lives of others (i.e. raising money for a charity, becoming an activist for a worthy cause, etc).  Students must have a 3.0 GPA minimum and submit an essay/supporting documents describing the project and/or activity. Courage to Grow Monthly Scholarship 

The scholarship awards $500 to one recipient each month. Student must be a high school junior or senior. To apply visit http://www.couragetogrowscholarship.com/. Deadline to apply is the last day of EVERY month.

Varsity Tutors Monthly Scholarship

Varsity Tutors holds a monthly $1,000 college scholarship contest where students write an essay in response to a monthly prompt. Visitors to the Varsity Tutors webpage will vote via social media for submitted entries.  The top five entries with the most votes are reviewed by Varsity Tutors at the end of the month and one winner will be selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship! Chegg $1,000 Monthly Scholarship
